Florence Michaluk

Hello, my name is Florence Michaluk and I am currently a 4th-year student in the Doctor of Pharmacy undergraduate program at the University of Montreal. The health of remote populations and improving access to primary health care is important to me. I am therefore extremely fortunate to be able to participate in the medical mission with ASCCA in Kamengo, Uganda, in March 2024.

This experience will allow me to develop my skills as a future healthcare professional. I will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of pharmaceutical care within a multidisciplinary team.

I thank you in advance for the support, which will be used to get the medicine, equipment and medical supplies needed to improve health conditions among the Ugandan population. Together, I am certain that we can have a positive and real impact on their health.

Bonjour, je m’appelle Florence Michaluk et je suis présentement étudiante en 4ième année au Doctorat de premier cycle en pharmacie à l’Université de Montréal. La santé des populations éloignées et l’amélioration à l’accès aux soins de santé primaires me tient à cœur. J’ai donc l’énorme chance de pouvoir participer à la mission humanitaire avec l’ASCCA à Kamengo, en Ouganda, en mars 2024.  

Cette expérience me permettra de développer mes compétences en tant que future professionnelle de la santé. J’aurai l’opportunité de contribuer à la prestation de soins pharmaceutiques au sein d’une équipe multidisciplinaire. 

Je vous remercie d’avance pour le support, qui servira à l’approvisionnement en médicaments, équipements et fournitures médicales nécessaires pour améliorer les conditions de santé au sein de la population ougandaise.
