Barbara comes to CACHA with significant public sector experience acquired through operational and management roles in four federal government departments. Barbara has led and participated in taskforces, advisory committees and working groups involving stakeholders in the public sector, in non-government organizations, and at all levels of government, both within Canada and internationally. Prior to her role as Executive Director for CACHA, she served as Senior Development Officer for Zambia and Tanzania. Earlier positions included Deputy Director Operations for Canada in Afghanistan where she managed Canada's support to Kandahar, and First Secretary for Development with the Canadian High Commission in Islamabad, managing Canada's support to Pakistan's education sector.
Princess has worked with many non-profits, in particular community partners around Africa. She understands the ins and outs of ever-changing projects, and uses this experience to ensure missions are successful. When she isn’t coordinating missions or handling CACHA’s social media, she enjoys interior design and singing.
Finance & Administrative Coordinator
Noreen comes to CACHA with volunteer experience at the Aga Khan Foundation. Noreen is responsible for the financial and administrative part of CACHA. She ensures that CACHA is CRA compliant, creates our financial statements and reports, and issues tax receipts. When she isn’t crunching numbers, she enjoys exploring the city with her girls.
