CACHA's Jean Montgrain Memorial Golf Tournament, Sponsored by Hendrick Farm (September 20, 2018)
On Thursday, September 20th CACHA’s Golf Tournament will be held at Anderson Links Golf Club in Carlsbad Springs. This year’s tournament is in memory of Mr. Jean Montgrain, a founder, a long-time supporter, and an inspirational force for CACHA.
This golf tournament is one of our major fundraising activities for the year and our target is $15,000. We had a great time last year and hope you can join us for a repeat performance!
So how about shining up those clubs and forming a foursome with family, friends, and colleagues or reconnecting with volunteers you have shared a CACHA experience with or supported. It is a great way to network with other professionals and volunteers involved with CACHA. And while the season was blistering hot in early July, September usually offers great golfing temperatures.
The cost per individual is $125.00 and the cost per foursome is $450.00. It will be a shotgun start at 12:00 pm.
Not a golfer? No problem! How about joining us for dinner ($45.00) and supporting CACHA in that way. A silent auction will also be held and there will be a number of items to bid on.
For more information on CACHA's Jean Montgrain Memorial Golf Tournament or to sign up for this event, please contact Princess Ethan at firstname.lastname@example.org (613 234-9992 ext. 412) or Barb Hendrick at email@example.com (613-234-9992 ext 420).
Hope to see you at the tee-off! Please help us reach CACHA's target!
Successful Fundraiser for Agnez Zabali Boys & Girls Club (November 4, 2017)
The Agnes Zabali Boys & Girls Club in Kamengo, Uganda is a very special project that is helping a lot of special kids change their lives for the better. On November 4th, the AZBGC held a fundraiser at Ottawa’s Kent St. Legion Hall. We would like to thank the organizers and volunteers for their selfless work, the generous auction donors, and all the guests who came to support this project and the AZBGC kids. Guests were treated to a roast beef dinner, Ugandan dancing, live music, unique sales and auction items, and several exceptional speakers. Special thanks to b-baller Milt Palacio for his inspiring words.
