Barbara Hendrick
Executive Director
Barbara comes to CACHA with significant public sector experience acquired through operational and management roles in four federal government departments. Barbara has led and participated in taskforces, advisory committees and working groups involving stakeholders in the public sector, in non-government organizations, and at all levels of government, both within Canada and internationally. Prior to her role as Executive Director for CACHA, she served as Senior Development Officer for Zambia and Tanzania. Earlier positions included Deputy Director Operations for Canada in Afghanistan where she managed Canada’s support to Kandahar, and First Secretary for Development with the Canadian High Commission in Islamabad, managing Canada’s support to Pakistan’s education sector.

Nusrat Shafiqud
Volunteer and Social Media Coordinator
Nusrat is a dedicated professional with over 5 years of NGO experience in the international development sector.
Before joining CACHA, Nusrat worked as an administrator for WWF-Canada where she contributed to the effectiveness of the Marketing & Communications, Development, and Donor Services teams by providing financial, budgetary, and administrative support and donor engagement services. In addition, during her internship at Engage Africa Foundation (Canada) Nusrat researched content for blogs and social media about human rights, conflict, and non-communicable disease prevention and management. She also worked in similar roles in Bangladesh, at United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP), International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Nusrat holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies from York University, Canada.
Outside of work, Nusrat enjoys reading and hiking.
Pramil Premjeyanth
Finance Coordinator
Pramil is holding an Executive Diploma in Accounting and Administration and has over many years of experience in finance and accounting, working for accounting firms and volunteering with other organizations before joining CACHA. She is currently responsible for the finance department of CACHA and manages projects and organizes tasks that support the efforts of a variety of projects.
