I am travelling to Kamengo Uganda with The Canadian Africa Community Health Alliance (CACHA) to provide free primary medical care to the local community. CACHA has been working has been in African communities since 2001 to help deliver basic treatment and empower the rural areas to improve their health and living conditions.
This mission involves teaming with the Golgi Health Clinic and Agnes Zibali Boys and Girl club to provide primary to 350+ people per day. Funds raised are used to purchase point of care diagnostic tests, medical supplies and medication for the Kamengo community. Dental care and minor surgeries are also funded. My role as a pharmacist will to make sure patients are provided with their free necessary medications.
The days are long but such a rewarding experience that I am eager to go back for my third volunteer mission to this community. Please support me in my adventure!

The individuals on these pages are raising funds in support of CACHA’s mission. The funds are given to CACHA to defray the costs of participation in, and supplies for, the mission, and not for the personal benefit of any participant. CACHA retains control over the use of all donated funds. Once the needs for the program have been met, or cannot be completed for any reason, any remaining contributions will be used where needed most.
