CACHA is comprised of the following governance structure: executive committee, board of directors, general membership, joint action teams and contributors.

The executive committee is composed of a president, vice-president, a secretary and a treasurer. The overall responsibilities of the executive committee are to coordinate the day-to-day running of the organization.

The board of directors is composed of the executive committee and 8 other board members. The board is responsible for defining and driving the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring directives are administered, and reporting back to the board on the progression of their joint action teams.

The general membership is composed of voting members who elect the board at the annual general meeting.

The joint action teams are composed of members based on their expertise. These teams will have specific mandates, targets and milestones. Current joint action teams are: Gabon Project, Bénin Project, Tanzania Project, Friends of the Ugandan Child, Kasese Orphan Project, Prevention Through Empowerment, Policies and Procedures, Finance, Marketing, Medical Supplies, Fundraising, Volunteers,Members and Nominating.
